Patient Reviews
I have been a patient at this dental practice for over 25 years. Although the practice has new ownership, most of the staff continue to work in the practice along side the new dentists. All of these folks are truly exceptional, caring and dedicated to their work. The practice remains at the cutting edge in the use of refined technologies that are more effective and limit patient discomfort. I strongly recommend this practice.

Cosmetic Dentistry Q&A
Does cosmetic dentistry improve oral health?
Yes. Even though the primary function of many cosmetic dentistry procedures are for aesthetic purposes, there are many health benefits such as correcting bite issues, protecting weak enamel and restoring functionality.
Who is a good candidate for cosmetic procedures?
Anybody who wishes to improve their overall oral health and appearance is a good candidate for a cosmetic dental procedure.
If you have any of the following, you might decide to opt for a cosmetic dental solution.
- a missing tooth
- cracked teeth
- discolored teeth
- misaligned teeth
- chipped teeth
- uneven gum line
Luna Dental specializes in many procedures such as teeth whitening, veneers, dentures and clear aligner therapy to improve overall oral aesthetics, so don’t hesitate to give our team a call to discuss your preferences.
What is clear aligner therapy?
Clear Aligner Therapy is an orthodontic procedure that utilizes clear transparent aligners to straighten teeth.
It’s an alternative solution to traditional braces to fix crowded teeth, over bites, gaps and misalignments.
It consists of an initial consultation involving x-rays and scans, the creation of a treatment plan with a 3D digital model and custom-made aligners which then must be worn for approximately 20-22 hours per day with scheduled check-ups to ensure the treatment plan is on track and to made any necessary adjustments.
If you think that clear aligner therapy sounds like the solution for you and if you’d like to find out more about how the treatment plan at Luna Dental works, give us a call and we can set up a consultation.
What is the difference between veneers and crowns?
Both crowns and veneers are used to improve the function and appearance of teeth but have slightly different purposes.
Veneers:
- are designed for aesthetic benefits
- are made of composite resin or porcelain
- used primarily to improve natural appearance
Crowns:
- offer structural and physical benefits
- are made of ceramic, porcelain, metal, or porcelain-fused-to-metal
- used to protect, strengthen and restore damaged or weakened teeth
