We will reshape minor imperfections, smooth edges, adjust slight overlaps, or balance uneven length. It’s not a major alteration, it’s a subtle refinement for a more pleasing look.

Because enamel has no nerves, this is usually a painless process that doesn’t require local anesthesia.

Who Is a Good Candidate?

If you have small chips, rough edges, overlaps, over crowding, uneven lengths or pointed teeth, tooth contouring may be a suitable option for you. 

It is important to keep in mind that tooth contouring isn’t ideal for teeth with thin enamel, deep decay or structural damage. This is where we could recommend bonding or veneers instead. Our team of experts will help determine which procedure is best suited to you.
